We are in the midst of a shifting paradigm, when it no longer works (if it ever did) to look for guidance and authority outside of ourselves. More and more people are turning to astrology for insight and guidance in their lives. But in an age of AI, the internet, and under a heavy layer of dominator culture, even astrology can become a conduit for giving away our power.
As an example, the planet Saturn gets a bad rap in most of the astrology community – said to be the bearer of hardships, tests, and hard work. But the pure energy of Saturn is contraction, binding, and manifestation: Saturn rules the manifest world, and through 3D reality, lets us know when we are – or are not – in alignment with our Soul’s truth.
Owning our own personal expression of the Saturn archetype means standing in our own integrity, and expressing our own unique frequency. Clearing the layers of dominator thinking from astrology and, specifically the Saturn archetype helps us to claim our own true power as individuals.

Kristine Backes left a corporate career and an external definition of success in 2010 to re-create her life in alignment with her Soul, nature, and the cosmos. Her Soul-led journey began with time in India for study and pilgrimage, followed by a return home to the Montana mountains where she lives now.
